Thrift Stores (frames & mirrors - I make vinyl lettering for my own signs), Dollar Stores, FB Wedding Groups and Costco... If I can stay within those 4, I'll keep my budget super low (perhaps some Amazon too)...

I'm hand collecting and drying out pine cones all Fall for my centrepieces Smiley xd

Being patient and waiting for the 50-55% off one item coupons at Micheals has paid off more than once for those expensive extras!

My FH and I religiously check Facebook marketplace and kijiji for used wedding decorations or stuff needed for our DIY projects. We found 76 large cylinder glass vases for $120 so I'm pretty happy about our finds so far!

Wedding swap sights are amazing for bouquets and many different items. Also, friend from work recently got married and had amazing backdrop I am able to borrow off of her!

Facebook buy and sell groups, Afloral.com, Kijiji, thrift stores! I've been able to find fantastic deals. I think it was important that I started looking so early that way it gave me the time to look and not feel pressured to buy the first thing that I saw!

I recently went to the bride swap and got a lot of good stuff.

I got two huge lanterns for $40 to go on either side of the alter(ish)

And I got a bunch of tea lights for next to nothing as well as a huge old wooden ladder that was painted white.

I have found a few items on amazon, and I am also going to be looking at Michael’s and even Home Hardware (for mason jars). I am attempting to do everything DIY to save costs so I’m really looking for deals lol!

Amazon and ebay have been my sources for small item tickets. Craftysticks for full kit supplies including glue sticks. Local warehouse for diy backdrop.

We've hired someone to do some decor, but I price out and buy the things that make sense. For example, why am I going to pay our decor company 7.50 to rent a picture frame when I was able to go to Kitchen Stuff Plus and purchase $20 frames for $7.50. I'll just resell them after. Votives same thing! Was cheaper for me to buy a case then paying to rent. Facebook groups have been great as well!

We got a few items from amazon, but I stuck to a lot of local vendors for decor and favours. We really wanted to support local with our wedding!

Facebook buy and sell groups have been great. Ikea for parts of our centrepieces. I found a half off sale on tulle. My fiance found a good price on lights online (not sure what the site was though)

We have gotten a lot of our decor off Amazon aside from the stair decor which we have actually gotten mostly at Dollarama minus the ivy. Our lanterns for our centerpieces were from Etsy.

I'm not doing a lot of decor.. which I keep panicking about, but truthfully our venue is gorgeous and I don't know if we need to add much more.

I keep seeing all these images and pintrest and keep wondering if I should do more.. AH.

So far I've done a few items from the dollarstore or buy and sell groups on Facebook.
