    Understated, for sure. Over the top often screams 'trying to hard' for me... it can be amazing, but for the most part your just taking away focus from what matters (bride/groom, guests, etc)

    Understated. Minimal speaks simplicity and sophistication when you can picture it perfectly. Not everyone will like cake if you plan to have a late night sweet snacks. Waste of money for the cake

    We don’t feel the need to dress like royalty and put on airs for our wedding.

    Understated.... the ballroom we are having our wedding at is glam enough, so we are doing simple decor to enhance its glamour. I think simple is more elegant than over-the-top

    Understated! Big, over the top pieces cost WAY too much, and usually are a distraction to the guests. Also, they can interfere with conversations across tables. Get more for your budget and do LESS!
