Splurge or Save: Favours?

This week's game is all about budgeting. We want to know what wedding items you'll be splurging on, and where you'll be saving money.

So...

Will you splurge or save on favors?

Will you have favors for your guests? Will you have favors for your guests?

My cell doesn't allow pictures to go through, so here is a picture of the favour.

Save. There will be a beautifully iced cookie for each guest, which might be considered a favour, I guess, since there will be pie for dessert.

Save. I'm doing DIY personal hot chocolate mixes. I'll be buying the ingredients in bulk and making them myself. I'll be using wedding colours on the ribbons, and ordering personalized thank you stickers with our wedding date.

I wanted something yummy/edible, and something a little more unique that went with the winter wedding theme.

Save by bargaining based on how many favours you're lookong into. I only shopped one store and saved 40% on the lot that was ordered for me particularly. Shop and compare pricing and then finalize.

Save.... sort of. Most favours get left behind but we are thinking of doing either a photobooth or flipbook booth

Splurge. Instead of a favor we will be arranging a welcome bon fire in the beach and a sun set cruise another night will away for all guests. With our guests paying so much just to attend, I thought it was only fair to give a larger "favor"

We saved on ours. We picked Ferrero roche chocolates, I found cases of 24 for $4 each, as there was a huge sale on them at Walmart. Then we bought purple organza bags to put the chocolates in and we got them from michaels, me and my sister each bought one separately and then we each got to use a coupon on them for 40% off each! Then the tags for the favours we paid full price, but they were just small tags and so it didn't cost a lot!

Save. My dad has a printing company and he's making us customize heart shaped sticky note pads. My alternate option was to make salt dough Christmas tree ornaments as we're having a December wedding.
