Ring Bearer

Kaisha, on June 18, 2018 at 01:29 Posted in Wedding ceremony 0 12

How old is too old for a ring bearer, I am debating asking my cousin who will be 10 is that too old? As I am typing it, it doesn't sound too old. Also his older sister will be 17 is there a way to have her involved as well?

That is going to be so special for him! What an amazing way to give him a role of honour. I smile just thinking about it.

My daughters ring bearer will be 12 and he’s actually taller than she is! The 17 could be a jr bridesmaid.

I dont think theres any age! Its your wedding and you decide. Why dont you have him and his sister walk down together?

10 years old is not too old for a ring bearer (really no age is, it's your wedding, do what you want)...

And 17 is old enough to be a full bridesmaid, or if you already have your bridal parties evened out, you could make her a junior bridesmaid.

Your 17 year old sister can be whatever you want her to be. She can even be a regular bridesmaid or even your MOH. My 16 year old daughter will be my MOH.

And a 10 year old can definatly be a ring bearer.

Despite what people tell you, there is no right or wrong way to do things.

There really isn't an "age limit" on that kind of stuff. I've seen 10-14 year olds as ring bearers, it's a nice way to include family. As for the 17 year old she can be a junior bridesmaid, have a similar dress, maybe even walk her brother down the aisle but not stand with you.
