Rent, Borrow, or Buy - Accessories

Couple of years ago, my friend's mom who is so dear to me gifted me a south sea pearl set (necklace and earrings) and said "I want you to wear this on your wedding day". I totally forgot about it and when I was doing the spring cleaning the other day I found it and remembered what she said so that's what Im going to wear! She can't come to the wedding because of health issues but she will be there by heart and she will be happy for sure if she see the picture of the bride wearing the sets she gave. Warms my heart.

New for the day!

When we went dress shopping, my mom gifted me a necklace earring set. The shop owner thought she'd have to order another because the earrings were clip-ons and always had to. I don't have my ears pierced so meant to be!

I found a headpiece on Etsy that is amazing! I'm not sure if this counts as a gift or a purchase though. Everyone defaults to sending me Etsy gift cards for birthdays, etc, so no out of pocket money spent on it.

I bought my hairpiece, was given a necklace and borrowed a ring from my room which also covered my old and blue

Buying accessories. Have bought my hair piece but haven’t found a necklace yet! Won’t be wearing earrings, as I plan to have my hair down and I think my ear piercings may have closed since I haven’t worn earrings in years!

Mostly buy... might borrow something

Mostly borrow, though I may need to buy a couple of things.

Borrow! My mom has all my nana's vintage jewelry which I think will go really well with everything.

Buy. I've already bought my hair accessories and about to buy the bridesmaids too. Then I'll buy my veil (if I decide to get one) and buy all new jewellery too!
My FH is also buying all his accessories.

I will be wearing what I currently have (earrings and necklace). No jewelries on the updo hair except few small fresh roses.

Buying! I haven't heard of jewelry rentals before lol

Borrow and Buy!

Borrowing some earrings and rings, and buying some new stuff too!

Shoes & hair piece will be new! Jewelry will be my something blue

Borrow- Going to see if anything my mom has from my grandma's collection that will look nice

Some will be bought brand new (my hair piece, & Shoes) and will be borrowing earrings, and possibly a necklace from my sister and grandma

None of my accessories will be rented (but now I've got to google shoe rental, out of curiosity)

I just bought vintage drop/cluster statement pearl earrings and am so pleased with the purchase.

My clutch (instead of a bouquet), is a passed down heirloom.

I think I’ll buy mine.

So far I have bought my veil and headband, but I can see myself borrowing the other accessories from family (earrings and necklace perhaps).

I bought all my accessories except for my veil (borrowed from my sister-in-law) and a tiny Faberge egg pendant, which is borrowed from my mom and is also my something blue.

Buy. I want to look back on these accessories for years to come and remember my wedding day ☺️

I think my mom will give me an accessory to “borrow” and I will buy all of my other accessories.

I’m thinking of borrowing my mom’s pearl necklace. I’m not sure about earrings though as that depends on my hair style and I haven’t decided on that yet.
