Aawww I’m sure it was a difficult decision but I’m sure you feel the weight off your shoulders. I know that I did when I postponed ours which was the same day as yours. Honestly though as much as it sucks you probably made the right decision. Our biggest factor when deciding to reschedule was to also make sure that all of our family and friends would be able to make it.

View quoted message All of my vendors and my venue were amazing when we had to postpone. I think this will all be fine by winter time. For our vendors such as the photographer, all I did was search some in my area and looked on wedding wire too and just scheduled a meeting with him and he showed me all his work and such and explained to me how the day will work. You can always email them and ask them if you could video chat your meeting and get them to send you their work. I would do that with all your potential vendors and make sure in their contract that the can honour a deposit transfer to a new date if this is still going on then. But it should be ok

We booked June 5th 2021 right before the pandemic was announced, how have your vendors been working with you?

We had put a halt on planning but now that things are starting to book quickly for next year, i need to book a photographer etc but have been really nervous to commit since everything is still up in the air and the big question is will our guests be OK by then?! It defiantly makes me feel better seeing all this positive comments from other brides!

I feel for the 2020 brides. We married in August 2019 and know the amount of work and saving and planning that goes into a wedding. It would be such a terribly difficult decision to make; postpone or go ahead with a gathering of 15 people.
