Literally so rewarding lol.

I have been busy so I have been less engaged in wedding wire lately. I try to check up on it from time to time. My FH says I was addicted at one point. Some of the badges are really hard to get.

I wish they translated into something.. but I can see the appeal in just collecting badges and points!

I think the points are just to keep you engaged in the features of the site. they will accumulate into various ranks that will demonstrate how much you use the site.

There's been some studies that show that people will get invested even in electronic rewards that don't translate into any real world value. Lots of companies are using them to keep people engaged. It's just to suck you in.

Hey Carissa, welcome! You earn points for being active around the community. It's just for fun, there's no obligation to earn points or move up in the rankings, but it can be very fun and addicting to earn points and badges! Lynnie and I are obsessed with our ranking, lol!

It boosts ur status or title on here but I don't think it does anything else... you get points the more involved you are, ie, commenting on discussions or making discussions.
