My mom actually had way more luck when she just shopped for a normal evening gown to wear! When she was only looking at dresses specifically labeled as "mother of the bride" dresses she couldn't find many options she liked! I'd agree on formality level to get an idea of what kind of dress she's looking for, then have her browse department stores or shop at her normal stores!

I believe Royal Bridal boutique is permanently closed but there are many other Bridal salons in that area! thanks for the suggestions.

What about Royal Bridal Boutique? I know some of their gown go over that price but they may have something in the price point you are looking for! Also check out Bridesmaid Bliss! It's a very nice store with alot of selection. I plan to go there with my MOH. It's outside of Vaughan Mills, in the same spot as Marcello's and Faema.

My mum found her dress at Vaughan Mills! She purchased her's from Laura and my FMIL got her's online from the Bay.

Do they sell Mother of the Bride attire at the bridal salon where you got your dress? That is where my mum found her dress.

Are you looking for a colour for your mum's dress? It depends on what colour the rest of your wedding party is wearing as you don't want them to clash.
