Most Likely To Make a Last Minute Request

Joey, on October 9, 2018 at 10:05 Posted in Before the wedding 0 25

We're playing a just for fun game of " Most Likely To " to find out who might make a faux pas on your wedding day.

Will your parents suddenly remember they need to invite their next door neighbors? Will a friend try to sneak in a plus one? Can you imagine a relative suddenly becoming vegan a few days before your wedding and ask to change their meal request? Who do you think is most likely to make a last minute request?

FMIL for sure. "Can I bring so and so"... like NO, you cannot.

Probably my youngest sister or one of the groomsmen. They'll come up with some genius idea that's too difficult to implement or decide they want this last-minute change to...something!

We have one aunt whose husband knows he may need to be called into work. But everyone knows I don't really broker that kind of behaviour. All our RSVPs came in on time because i told everyone they wouldn't be let in if they didn't rsvp on time, no exceptions.

Before I was married, I would've said one of my nephews! They change their food likes and dislikes so often! But, they ate what was at our wedding, so that's a win!

Last minute demand over request really. One guest decided to bring his bf and mother knowing he was the only person whos name was written on the envelope. I was really pissed and never spoke to him ever again.

Probably my in laws but like even then I don’t see this being something they would do, it’s just more that they’re most likely to do it.

I don't even know to be honest. My first thought was my FMIL... maybe more so of a "so why can't we do this this way?"... but I'm really hoping I don't have to deal with changes and requests... Ohhh my head would probably explode.

Probably my mom. For example, She'll ask as I'm getting ready if I thought about doing something and I'll be like No? That's something that should have come up months ago?!

Or a wedding party member asking to bring their latest date a week beforehand.

I'm thinking either the best man, who currently has a sort of girlfriend and when I asked him if I should add a plus one for him he said no don't worry.. I think that will turn around but who knows.
Or my in-laws will have some sort of last minute request..

My mother, is most likely to make a last minute request. It’s not out of malice, just in her nature to not think so far ahead about things.

Probably my mother! Hahah! Though nothing too serious I doubt. My invites state the food is buffet style so we're not even letting people pick options there!

This would be any of my friends - although I am trying to distance myself from them so that I won't be needing to invite them (I never did really like them but they were from High School so... we made ourselves keep in touch).
