Is it too cliché? Even doing them yourself?

With the developmemt of Pinterest you see alot of these things more...but I wouldn't say cliche per se. Mason jars are awesome, I use them for food, decor, makeup, storage, literally everything Hahaha. You see them everywhere because they are so versatile and cost effective. If you want them, go for it. I love this inspo pic for something a little different with some twine wrapped and tied around the top.

Mason jars are not cliche, uniquely different for every couple. Different methods can go:

    Spray paint
    Glitter
    Hand painted
    Rhonestone strips
    Burlap material
Clear with water beads and LED lights
    Chalk baord sticker

If you like them, they aren't cliche! We had blue mason jars with baby's breath and wheat in them as our centre pieces and they looked so lovely!

I found some jars for a good price. but no idea on how to decorate them. I want very rustic looking. but I don't want to do what everyone else does. I want it to be unique

I had an idea of using those flames candles in side of them plus using burlap and lace trim.

I love mason jars and I think If you like them, you should go for it! We're doing vintage milk bottles because I didn't want mason jars. I picked them up for $20. You can also use bud vases that will give that vintage glass feeling.

This photo is from a friends wedding. It's our inspirational photo for our center pieces. Ours will have white flowers, blue ribbon and burlap on the mason jars.

We are using Mason Jars for flowers on the tables. The best part is that I preserve ALOT! So we don't need to buy any. I have a couple of really old ones for the head table. I'll take them all home after the wedding and wash and reuse!
