Keep or Skip: The Garter Toss?

This is on tradition that makes me so uncomfortable, every wedding I have been to has has it but I will be skipping this one for sure

Skip. I always hate the throwing the bouquet and garter toss. I was mortified as a guest getting singled out like that for being single....

I will be wearing one but no we won't be tossing, I think. Up to him on this one as it doesn't matter to me.

Skip. We both think it would be uncomfortable and he doesn't have that many single guy friends anyway.

My fiance wants to keep it but I don't think I do. We might have to talk about it.

I want to keep the tradition mainly because the wedding my FH and I attended last year, my FH was the lucky one who caught the garter! (Go figure lol) I’m going to send the luck back out by using that farted as the “toss” garter but of course I’ll be keeping my own garter .. I figured I should pass the luck along

I just don't get why this ever became a thing!!!!! Definitely skip.

Skipping this. I think it's awkward to have my new husband under my dress in front of all our friends and family.

I’m a bit uncomfortable with this— my fiancé and I are still debating on it. The premise is okay though..

I don't want to wear a garter, but this would be super funny and we have some good characters attending our wedding so I might sneak off to the bathroom and slip one on just for this lol

Skipping the toss.

Skip for sure! When I would be dragged out to catch the bouquet, I was always so nervous in case I did get it and be forced to dance with the garter toss. The garter can be worn and kept as a keepsake for me!

Skip. I don't want the attention. He doesn't think I'm wearing one. But I am because I found one that is his favourite hockey team and I plan on showing him at some point when it is just the two of us.
