It's not my thing, it just looks unfinished. I mean, it looks sort of nice but just not my cup of tea.

I am more of a fan of the nearly naked cakes...i think you need some frosting, without it just looks incomplete.

Love naked cakes! No cake for us though, we are saving the money and doing our own cupcakes.

Not into it! Looks nice for rustic style weddings or functions. Icing cakes are more my style and just a ribbon on the layer.

    Was never into it.... lol

It just looks like you aren't trying or that you did and had to wipe the icing off because it looked that bad...

A mix of both... I like the half-naked look... but we are only doing 2 tiers, one for saving, one for cutting, with mini cupcakes.

I like the look of them but the cake would be so dry. Icing locks in the moisture. Wedding cakes are made days ahead and then frozen. A shop can't possibly make every wedding cake fresh that morning. So passsssss.... you need a little icing.

I'm a mix between over it and into it! I'd love this as I don't like frosting, but I feel like my fiancé would say it looked "boring" haha

Super into it! We’re doing a dirty iced cake. According to my bridesmaid it’s a “half-arsed” cake, haha. With flowers, they look so beautiful.

Over it for the most part. There are some really cute designs out there though that we considered. Ultimately, we went with rosettes.

I like naked cakes, but I do love my frosting! I'd prefer a nicely frosted cake (not marzipan either), so that my choice. I think they look pretty though!

Into it! I do NOT want a cake full of fondant and flowers, flowers in a cake to me are so ugly. We like the simplicity of the "naked" cake.
