How far in advance did you book your venue?

10 months approximately.

We booked our venue exactly one month prior to getting engaged, so 14 months prior to the wedding!

We were looking to book a year or year and half away, but the venue had an opening in 9 months so we took that date.

9 months. I didn't really need to book it though as it is my uncle's place.

About a year and a half in advance.
We did later on change the ceremony location, I think that was probably about 10 months in advance

We booked just about just under 2 years in advance. Super lucky we did because at the beginning of the year they announced that 2020 is not only fully booked but also their last year of service! 2019 booked up before the beginning of the year so I'm so glad we did it when we did and got the date that we wanted!

1.5 years in advance because it would have been too challenging to get the wedding together in 5.5 months.

We are having our wedding at my family farm where I grew up so no booking necessary!

Just shy of one year. We went to see it on the equivalent Saturday (Jan 20, 2018/Jan 19, 2019)... and picked it/signed the contract that week.

We booked our venue approximately 3 months post-engagement/1.5 years pre-wedding.

Then about 2 weeks after we visited our coordinator gave us notice that they had another interested party and we’d have 7 days to book or we’d lose the space.
