Halloween weddings

Sh'vaun, on April 21, 2018 at 17:01 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 7
Hey all! My fiancé and I decided to do a Halloween wedding. We want it to be classy and fun. Has anyone ever been to one? What kind of classy Halloween decor do you think would be good??

Brittany's inspo pics are better than anything I could have suggested! I love the idea of lots of black lanterns and gold or orangy candles as a subtle nod to Halloween. Apothecary jars are another nice touch

I've always thought Halloween weddings can be so amazing... if it isn't tacky... So I would say, play up the pumpkins & colours, skip the plastic masks and fake blood.

I totally agree with Erin, the dark, rich colours you can use can give off such an elegant, classy vibe. Using blacks, reds, purples... it's a really regal feel, and can be very formal.

Pumpkins (not carved like jack-o-lanterns, but more beautiful carvings), lots of candles, some skulls, a Trick-or-Treat candy bar, flowers done in true autumn colours...

Oh this could be really fun! You can pick from so many different colour palettes (deep reds, bright and burnt oranges, deep purple and plum, black and silver) and just add little elements of Halloween and Fall (pumpkins, glittery skulls, Fall leaves, vintage lanterns, trick or treat snacks as favours, escort cards could be shaped like tombstones).

That's awesome! I've never been to one but I'd definitely include cute jack-o-lanterns, maybe a witch'a cauldron for punch, trick or treating candy for your favors, I'd definitely still pick a colour theme though. There are a lot of colours that can be associated with Halloween and you don't want to overwhelm yourself trying to figure out what can go where, what can't, etc.

What a great idea! Sounds like it will be lots of fun Smiley smile. Pumpkins are always classic for halloween, and maybe some decorative lights with fall leaves would be really pretty!
