Google map in Website Blog post?

Terresa, on February 3, 2019 at 18:09 Posted in Tech support 0 3

I want to include a google map in a blog post, but I can't figure out how. Using just the "embed a map" coding, I can see the map in the draft of the post, but it shows up as the written code in the post. Using the link, I get linked text (as expected). Short of creating an event within the website and putting the map there, is there a way to publish a map within the blog page?

Hi Terresa! The Wedding Blog text box doesn't allow you to embed code – that's actually not possible anywhere in the website builder. As Tori alluded to, your best option here is to use a page type that already includes a map in the layout, like the Addresses page. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Hi Tori. I wasn't, but that makes total sense. Thanks!

I'm assuming that you are using an "Addresses" page right? If so, then maybe it's just the browser that you are checking it on? I have heard some people can't see it unless they use IE and that Mozilla doesn't work either though.
