We had 4 flower kids as one was holding hands to a teenager walking him down the aisle.
18 months boy, 17 year old girl, 8 year girl and 6 year old boy. They were divided by 2 a row keeping the wedding party separated before our entrance.

I'm not having a flower girl but my daughter was a flower girl when she was 2.
The 2 and 3 year old flower girls are adorable but unpredictable. My daughter was supposed to walk down the aisle with a 3 year old ring bearer but he had a tantrum just before and refused to walk. And my daughter threw all of her petals after only walking down half the aisle so she ran back to collect them so she could throw more. It's good entertainment but as the mother my heart was in my stomach because I knew things could go sideways fast with an audience. She was going through a phase where she would flip her dress over her head. I expected her to expose herself to the entire church (she didn't!!!)
An 8 year old will be far more predictable.
