Do you have nights for “no wedding talk”?

Sometimes the most important part of wedding planning is taking a break from wedding planning! Do you have nights where you ban the wedding talk? Never, always, or sometimes?

Sometimes? We don't exact plan a "no wedding talk" day, but we don't talk about wedding related things everyday either. I imagine this might change when we are only a few weeks out versus a little under a year. Smiley xd

Sometimes... a lot. All done now, but we would go many, many nights without wedding talk. I planned a lot of it, so if there was nothing new, there was nothing to say really.

We did since I had to get some of his views and thoughts. He didn't like it until favours were being looked into and wedding bands came into talk. Financial is not his best topic or to talk about though it does hit you hard not knowing things happen or payments bounce.

Sometimes, he does look at the wedding shows on TV and admits our wedding was nice and just perfect without a second thought. That makes me happy to know he looks back and says it.

We've taken the ultra marathon approach to planning so not really. We have nights where we just don't plan because we don't need to more so than anything.

We haven't needed to do this yet, although I suspect it'll come up as we get closer!

Never! We talk about the wedding whenever, as it’s fast approaching and a topic we need to discuss! There’s so much to do

Never. It's a big part of our lives right now, so we talk about it when we need to.

Nope lol. I'm usually the one who brings it up, but we talk about the wedding whenever we want to. It's less than 6 months away so it has to be discussed!

At first we didn't talk about wedding on our date nights. We are now 40 days out so we are past that a bit.

Not anything specific. We talk about it when it comes up or we need to plan or figure something out

Not really, there’s no specific nights. We don’t talk about it all the time anyway so there’s no need.

Not specifically? There are some nights when wedding talk for sure doesn't happen or doesn't happen a lot aside from a quite note or something!

Never. We don't feel it's necessary since wedding planning hasn't consumed our life. It's refreshing to talk wedding since we are so busy being new parents.

We just talk about it when something comes up or needs to be done. Once we get closer maybe, but not right now

We’re married now but when we were planning we were intentional to have no wedding talk dates

Never - it's quite the opposite with us. We usually don't talk about wedding planning unless something needs to be picked out/contracts signed etc.

When we get closer to the wedding, we'll probably start banning wedding talk just to have some sanity lol

No, it really. It doesn’t get discussed much aside from whatever it is that we are focussed on.

We don't overly talk about it that much that there needs to be a no wedding talk night!

We really don’t talk about the wedding that much! we’re 16 months away from the wedding, and in the past 9 months that we’ve been engaged, i’ve done 99% of the wedding planning, so we don’t have much to discuss at this point haha

Sometimes. For the most part we have things figured out so we don't talk about it much, but when we do there has been a time or two where we just decide "not tonight!" and watch a movie or something else instead of getting into the planning.

We don't actively ban wedding talk any day or night - it just comes up when it comes up.

    Always.
We have set meetings for “pay attention” wedding convos, and we reserve the right to bring up discussions on an ad hoc basis.

We don't ban wedding talk for any nights, but there are definitely nights that we don't talk about it

Definitely. It's not something we actively talk about every single day.
