Centrepieces for patio tables

Patio CentrepiecesPatio Centrepieces

I found out yesterday that the venue has outdoor tables on the patio for my guests to use at cocktail hour (or anytime during the wedding), and I didn't have any centrepieces made. So I whipped these up in one day using tall wine glasses that I haven't used in 10 years, river rocks, tea lights, pearl stickers, and flowers (dollar store), and tulle.

Thanks Carol. I thought, Oh no, not another thing to make. But it worked out nicely with things I already had at home.

Thanks, Bethany. Both the tulle and the pearls around the bottom we meant to be "wedding-like". Do you think I have a new career on the horizon?

Omg these are SO pretty. I love that they're earthy with a pop of colour, and that tule adds delicacy which is appropriate for a wedding. SO nice. Such a good eye. They're eye catching yet simple.

Hey Kila, thanks so much for the compliment. It is a learning process and I found the more I did, the "craftier"I became. I watch you tube videos if I want to learn how to do something. The river rocks came in little mesh bags and now I'm contemplating how to turn one of these bags into a birdcage veil!! I check you tube videos first and I'm going to give it a try. If it doesn't work out, that's fine. But if it does, I'll have the cutest, cheapest birdcage veil made of something most people would have discarded!

You did that in one day ?? I have been trying to make one sample centrepiece for like a month lol... I have no crafty talent so it's a learning process! Those are adorable and perfect for a patio . Love how the rocks will keep them weighted down in case it's windy !

Thanks, Jen. Again, made with things I already had and dollar store rocks and tea lights.

I still have to make the dining room centrepieces and will post the photos after the wedding.
