Burgundy Colour Palettes: In or Out?

Lynnie, on February 18, 2019 at 10:36 Posted in Wedding fashion 0 28

Burgundy has been big for bridesmaids dresses the last few years! Do you think the burgundy craze is just a trend, or will it always be a go-to colour for fall weddings?

What's your take on burgundy colour palettes? Is this trend in or out?

I hope it's in, since it's a big part of my colour scheme! We chose burgundy because it goes well with our venue, even though we're having a summer wedding.

We were considering burgundy few months ago. But now we settled for pastel colours. Combination of 4 colours. Ice blue, mint green, light pink and light lavender.

I think it’s in. I was planning on going with burgundy for our bridesmaids dresses for October 2020. It flatters all the girls in the bridal party.

In. I don’t think burgundy will ever go out of style. My sister used it 15 years ago at her wedding, and it was big then

In. Perfect colour for a Fall wedding, IMO. You can do so much with that colour. I am a Summer-person at heart, but for the Fall season my favourite is a dark and edgy/moody wedding theme with a dark lip.

I agree with the other ladies! I think it looks great for winter/fall weddings! I don’t think it works with a spring/summer affair though.
