Bridal Bouquet - How much are you spending on it?

Megis, on June 16, 2018 at 13:35 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 13

So currently shopping around for a bridal bouquet. I want to pay under a$100 for mine. It's just a small embellishment for one day. Out of curiosity how much are you spending for yours?

I will only have 2 bridesmaids and 1 best man so I am planning to go to Costco the day before the wedding to buy the fresh flowers in the store and will make the bouquets and boutonniere ourselves. I hope it will be under $100.

My friend is getting 20 bouquets from Costco for $120. She is combining 2 bouquets for each bridesmaid and three for herself. They deliver them mon-thurs only though.

It all depends on what you go with but I’m getting roses, peonies, and greenery for roughly 120$ Bridal bouquet and 80$ for each bridesmaid Smiley smile

I got quoted for everything from bouquet to centrepieces because I wanted a tall centrepieces and I was in shock. I'll be doing mine instead also the centrepieces and a few garlands. I feel it's more personal.

It also helps to use flowers that are easily obtained/in season. i heard peonies & lilies can be pricey...

I’m going to be making mine myself by using bulk greenery and a few flowers from Costco. That’ll also include my bridesmaids bouquets too! I have some idea of the vision for them & will put them together with my MOH, which will be fun & save a TON of money! I honestly can’t justify (or afford!) spending $$$ on bouquets either, when they’re used so briefly. Rather put it towards the food & drinks!

I bought mine from fb buy and sell page. I think I paid $200 for a bridal and 6 bridesmaids bouquets! Definitely recommend checking out local buy and sell pages.

I’ve heard that having a mostly greenery bouquet helps cut costs.

I'm budgeting for around $100 for mine and $50-75 for my girls, but my grandma used to be a florist and will be making all of our bouquets. Shes not charging to make them, so my budget is strictly for the actual flowers. We are making/getting flowers and plants that we can plant in our garden after the wedding in their same arrangement so it's not just a one day thing Smiley smile
