Are you doing ceremony programs?

Cliodhna, on November 29, 2019 at 09:05 Posted in Wedding ceremony 0 11

Ceremony programs are an opportunity to add a personal touch to your wedding, as well as guiding your guests through the ceremony. However, some couples feel they’re an unnecessary expense.

Will you do ceremony programs? If so, what will you include in them? Share a inspo picture below Smiley smile

    We didn't do individual programs.

It was an extra cost and our ceremony was following a pretty traditional format so we felt like we didn't need it.

We might do a sign that has the order of events for the evening, but definitely not printed individual programs.

Our ceremony will be very brief, and we have no wedding party so all we need our guests to know is what is happening when!

Yes we are doing ceremony programs. We will be including our bridal party. We will also be including our readings and hymns as our wedding will be inter faith

We're not doing individual programs. It's too much money really on something that is only going to be half-used for less than 30 minutes.

We are looking at the alternative of a sign with a framework of what's what and who's who for the ceremony. Even getting it printed on Vistaprint will be a fraction of programs for everyone.

We're not either. Waste of paper and unnecessary expense to us.

We did a sign that told guests what time certain things were: Doors open, ceremony start, dinner start, etc. We also had our officiant, MC, parents names and wedding party listed, in case people wanted to know that information.

Nope, it’s an extra charge that we don’t want to spend.

No, we're going to have all that information on a sign, as well as on the wedding website.

The only programs we had was a wooden pallet that had the times and what was going on them (Cermony - 5:30PM, Supper - 6PM, Bus Shuttle - 1AM, etc.)
