All-inclusive venue or pick your own vendors?

If for the sake of my sanity, I would go for all-inclusive. For the sake of having a unique wedding at a venue that just screams “us”, I’m going through so many vendors, crunching numbers, pulling my hair out etc.! But it’s best to come out with what you and your future spouse sees as priority. For us, it was a unique venue and a dance floor!

Pick my own. We're not doing a lot of the stuff you would find in an all inclusive - dry wedding, not doing a dance but video and board games for entertainment, etc.

All inclusive! FH's dad went totally all inclusive as they just got married in March in Punta Cana and they literally just gave the hotel the budget and told the hotel to spend it where they thought would be best because they didn't want to be stressed with any planning or if something didn't go quite according to plan then they wouldn't really know or stress since they wouldn't know what the plan was supposed to be.. they literally just told them to tell them when and where to show up and make sure the food was good. The wedding was fabulous, no one was stressed (even when the power went out across the entire hotel for like 10 minutes during the dinner, everyone just laughed and made jokes).

Now I'm jealous I didn't do it that way and just saved myself all the hassle of planning and stressing!

All inclusive- but would want to see and meet them all before deciding this.

All inclusive!! Mine is pretty inclusive, and I love that. We get the venue, event coordinator, food, set up and accommodation. It's a pretty sweet deal.

All inclusive! So much less stress, and I'm happy to leave it to seasoned professionals.

We got an almost all inclusive and having done it again, I would’ve put the work in and spent less by doing a venue I can bring booze in and pick caterers

All inclusive. Ours was almost just had to hire photographers and DJ (although we didn’t). Oh, and officiant!

Pick my own. There were a few vendors we interviewed that we did not click with at all and if they were included with the venue and unchangeable we would have been stressed

All inclusive! I trust our venue coordinator's judgement completely and we've picked a couple of their preferred vendors anyway.

I would stick to finding my own vendors rather than trusting the venue. I did that exactly and was happy with all except for 1.

This is interesting cause this is my FH and i’s dilemma right now. The all inclusive is so so expensive but I feel like if we go with the other option, we might end up paying for the same so we’re thinking of just going with the all inclusive! Especially cause we can have both the ceremony and reception at the same Venue!

All-inclusive because it's less stressful, though it would've been fun having more options food-wise.

All inclusive would’ve saved us a ton of money so definitely all inclusive. I do like the freedom of picking who I work with but I would’ve liked to have saved a bit more money.

An all-inclusive - it's been so much work and so hard wrangling everything.

We were going to do an all inclusive venue but their catering, alcohol and taxes were insane so 100% i would have a venue that we could choose the venues

We’re choosing all our own vendors, which i love! this way the wedding feels more unique to us and what we want

All-inclusive venue - Less hassle.

With our venue we have a good balance of some included things and some things that require outside hiring. Food, drink, ceremony space and draping, linens are included and we're hiring vendors for flowers, DJ, cake, photography. I think I'd prefer hiring each vendor individually over a package that includes them all so we can be more picky and find the perfect fit for us.

All inclusive. When it comes to weddings i just think the less I have to do the better. Lol

I am finding it very tedious and annoying right now researching and sorting through every vendor type under the sun.
