All about the venue - How did you first hear about your venue?

How did you first learn about your venue? Was it a recommendation from a friend? Did you attend a wedding there? Did you discover it on WeddingWire?

My uncle owns it! I've been there a million times and have been thinking about having the wedding there for AGES.

The venue is close to my old high school, I would pass it everyday going to school, I never imagined I would be getting married there years later 😀

Found out from attending a friend's wedding a few years before I got engaged actually. I knew they did musical shows and big events, but figured the casino didn't host weddings until I attended theirs. They used the larger space (for 250+) but there smaller room (100-120) is just as pretty and the perfect size for our needs.

I stumbled upon it by accident. It's a beautiful butterfly garden with a deck over water in a city park. I didn't even know it existed until a naturalist group hosted a guided walk.

Previous to discovering it we were just going to elope in a chapel but this is much more us. We love the outdoors and many of our best memories are from hikes and walks we've taken together and as a family.

Searched venues on ww. It’s no longer up but I had been to the cafe associated with it before and enjoyed that.

Long story short, we heard about this particular venue from my parents - since it's the hotel where they met (they both worked there) and they had their reception there. It has lots of sentimental value to my family so once we narrowed down what city we're getting married in, this was the venue!

I have two venues - one for ceremony and one for reception. we found our ceremony venue on a Facebook wedding group i’m a part of, and our reception venue is the same venue my aunt and uncle - who are our MC’s and my godparents - got married at 13 years ago!

FH and I attended a brunch at our venue a couple years before engagement. We both quickly fell in love with the setting and the food, and kind of just knew it was going to be the place.

My family pointed it out to me when we had driven to my grandparents house a few times. We randomly decided to go see it last August just to check it out and I fell in love! Brought my FH (then boyfriend) a few weeks later and he loved it.

We'd driven by it many times but never realized it was a wedding venue. Then I found it on here and had to check it out.

We went to a wedding at our venue a couple years ago, and I actually had my prom there, so I knew the location. It was also the best bang for your buck when we were searching for venues!

We heard about it at the 2018 Wonderful Wedding Show Smiley smile They were only blue prints but good thing we went to it after we JUST got engaged because they didn't attend the next 2 years as they were all booked up!
