Adding a registry

Paige, on December 4, 2019 at 00:56 Posted in Tech support 1 10
It appears that adding a registry page on the website isn't possible, which is really frustrating. So I made another blog page and titled it Registry but I'm having a hard time putting in a clickable link to my registry. Anyone know any other ways around this? Thanks!

Hi Brooks!! Adding a "wedding blog" page is still your best option!!

Just title the page "Registry" and add your registry info with a hyperlink in the text section!

Has any of this changed yet?

We’re trying to add a registry page with HoneyFund but can’t seem to do it without just a link on a page…it looks silly. Any help yet??

Hi Genna! Currently, the Canadian version of WeddingWire does not support a registry page. I'm happy to share the feedback to add this option with our Development Team for a possible future improvement.

I have also been having problems with this. Every website I go on says that there is a way to do this on Wedding Wire, but I can't find it. I have created a blog page and embedded the link myself, but that's still not how I wanted this to look. Is it different in the US somehow? Why would all these other sites explain that it's possible if it's not?

Is there a way for the registry to show the pictures of what's on it directly?

    Thanks!

    Hi Paige!

To add a hyperlink to your page, you’ll need to use the link button that appears within the text box. Click on the button, insert the link to your registry in the first box, type in the name of the registry into the second box. Click Ok.

What we ended up doing was listing:

    the place(s) we were registered

    our registry id number(s)

    our wedding date

our names that it would be under

With that information they should have no trouble looking it up Smiley smile

There should be the embed link option. Is your link from wherever your registering from shareable? Where are you registered?
