2 month to-do list

Emily, on August 2, 2018 at 10:33 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 5
We’re about 2 months away from the wedding! I can’t believe how fast the time has gone. I’ve been pretty on top of getting everything done early. Would love any reminders/advice of what else I could be missing if you’re willing to share
!

The list on here helps to the final details.

There is something i did though so i everything packed in sections. There were 5 bags in whole with sheets indicating whats in there. The 5 bags were:

    1. Wedding ceremony
    2. Reception set up
    3. Head Table items
    4. Outfits/Suits & accessories
    5. Welcome bags & water cases

It was easier to know that nothing was last minute except for the essentials and backdrop rental pick-up the day before.

    Details!

My fiance and I went through the entire day: times, locations, people who need to be there, what they need to have with them, etc. Is there anything we are missing or anything we need to provide? (Such as lunch as we started getting ready at 11) Then, we let our wedding party and others involved in the wedding know there where, when, what to bring.

A list of all the items that are yours and where they should go (assuming you aren't there for clean-up)

The times for the day; we had a couple mixups with the venue in regards to times of things and I was asked if it was okay if dinner was brought out late, late snack brought out early. I didn't care but I wished I had told someone beforehand so they could field those questions for me.

Make a list of any photos you absolutely want and give it to photographer

Confirm all appointments for the day (both with the vendor/salon and with those attending: my MIL almost didn't keep her hair appointment until I mentioned I had already paid the deposit)

I am about 2 month away too!! For this month we are focusing on making sure that we have our gifts for each other, the bridal party and parents. Our RSVP deadline just came up so we are contacting anyone who hasnt responded yet, finalizing ceremony readings, work on DIY projects, work on seating arrangements, schedule dress fittings, and get your marriage license if you havent done so yet.

For our last month the big things we will need to do is submit our finalized numbers to our venue (including menu), finalize and print out seating cart, print out escort cards, create a day-of-timeline, put together favours, confirm with all vendors and have final meetings (officiant, photographer, transportation, decor, etc), and prepare toast. Little things to not forget about - making any last minute appointments (nails, hair, etc), create a day-of emergency kit, confirm details with the wedding party so they know where to be and when, and put tip money aside for vendors.
