Located near Ayr, Ontario, The Lavender Farm is a venue that specializes in hosting lovely rustic themed weddings and special events creating a unique experience for couples on their big day. Contact The Lavender Farm today to discuss your wedding vision! This beautiful venue is offered from June to the end of September as the weather can be cooler and unpredictable in the Spring and Fall months.

Facilities and capacity

The facilities found at this farm wedding venue include 2 outdoor ceremony spaces amongst their stunning lavender fields and their 75 year old heritage bank barn is the ideal space for hosting wedding receptions of up to 120 seated guests.

Services offered

The Lavender Farm offers our couples a wedding suite (no overnight accomodations), handmade harvest tables, mis-matched wooden chairs, handmade wooden benches, wooden arbors, onsight wedding officiant and services of a certified wedding co-ordinator for one month. You also have a choice to use any outside vendors for your catering services and more. Enjoy your special day by celebrating on this beautiful farm alongside family and close friends.

We have availability in 2024 and we are now accepting bookings for 2025!!!

The Perfect Place to be Married and Celebrate!

Our entire experience at The Lavender Farm with Barb, Bob, and Julie was wonderful. I was thrilled when they had our wedding date available, almost like fate. The venue is rustic and charming, with the perfect touch of class. Any time I had a question leading up to our day, I would always have a quick response. You have to be prepared to book and organize all of your own needs (caterer, DJ, rentals, etc.), but you can turn the venue into any vision you have! Mine came together perfectly and I couldn't be any happier. We had Barb do the ceremony and she was lovely. Bob and Barb are kind and genuine, and will help make your day run smoothly in any way they can. Our guests absolutely loved the venue and had a great time as well. Thank you!!

Rustic barn wedding was a dream come true!

Bob & Barb are possibly the humblest, kindest and most creative small town folks we've ever met. They've turned their heritage barn (which was a working barn years ago) into a wonderful wedding venue that has so much to offer. This family truly knows the value of a dollar and offers the use of so many decorations, furniture, supplies all included in the cost of the venue! On Sunday when we went to clean up, Bob told us to leave anything we didn't want because the next weekends bride might be able to use it. Knowing that so many of my decorations would get put to good use and the owners weren't trying to make additional profit off me made our experience even more memorable. This beautiful, quaint lavender farm offers a sunset view over the farming fields out back, a picnic shelter in case it rains and a small shop where guests can browse. They only offer one wedding/event a weekend so you never feel rushed and can truly get your money's worth. There wasn't a thing that we didn't love. I hope in life, something brings us back to this special slice of heaven.

Scent of heaven

It is such a gorgeous place to have a wedding. Fresh lavender wafting through the air. Whenever I smell lavender it brings me back to that day of my besties wedding. I hope to book my wedding here so I can have that for my own.

Personal & Perfect

Barb & Bob went out of their way to help make our day so perfect! They helped make my vision come to life & helped with the set up the night before. They are so inviting & the property is so “homey” and romantic. All of our guest still talk about how amazing of a day it was. Definitely would reccomend & we will be visiting often. Wonderful people, wonderful venue. Perfect for your wedding!!!

Wonderful venue!!

We were so happy with our decision to choose the Lavender Farm as our venue for our wedding this past summer. Bob and Barb are so wonderful to work with and truly care about providing a wonderful experience for each couple. Bob and Barb were always there to answer our questions, provide suggestions and were always so accommodating as they let us pop by the farm many times in the year leading up to our day. They also only host one wedding a weekend which really helped to make us feel at ease in the days leading up to our wedding as we had plenty of time to set up, tear down and have our rehearsal there, and as the bride it made me feel special to be the only bride that weekend :) The lavender field and the barn are absolutely stunning, the venue was everything we had imagined and more for our day and we received so many compliments from our guests. Thanks so much again Bob & Barb, our wedding day was all we could've hoped for and more!

Magical Event

We loved this place!

Beautiful venue, friendly service

We had a wonderful and beautiful wedding at the Lavender Farm. The owners were very helpful and easy to work with as well. They were so understanding and flexible during a pandemic wedding, we couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Beautiful farm and people

Barb and Bob at the Lavender Farm are kind, generous, lovely people who have opened their property for couples like us on our special day. The whole process of touring the property, figuring out details, confirming our date, and everything leading up to our day has been smooth, timely, and helpful. We are getting married there in 3 months and we can't wait! Barb and Bob are always adding to the property, items for couples to use, details that help for the weekend - they are always thinking of the couple, what they would love, and how to make the best weekend for everyone involved. We highly recommend Barb and Bob and the Lavender Farm!

Beautiful venue but a lot of work!

The lavender farm is an absolutely amazing place to have your wedding but you need to be willing to put the work in! The venue only includes the barn and grounds. You are responsible for everything else DJ, bar,catering, decorating etc. Barb and Bob tell you this upfront and everything is explained in the contract. They are very flexible and helpful if you have any questions about setting up or what you can use/do with the venue. I would absolutely recommend this venue to the couple who is doesn't mind planning everything on their own or want to hire a decorator or event planner. Another good thing is you get the barn for 3 days! We were there bright and early to set up Friday morning for our Saturday wedding but they didn't mind at all. When we got married they were still doing lots of upgrades and improvements, our day was beautiful so I can only imagine how it looks now with all the work they were putting in!
