Amazing team and beautiful property
We were so happy working with Chris and the team at Steckle. Not only were they incredibly flexible but they also recognized how special of a day it was and made sure to do anything they could to reduce our stress.
The orchard and the barn were beautiful and our guests really enjoyed being able to spend some time with the animals. -

My fiance and I were so excited to hold our wedding at Steckle. After seeing the beautiful barn, we were sold! We unfortunately had to postpone our May 2020 wedding to May 2021, and now unfortunately due to covid we have had to cancel. Steckle was amazing throughout the process, from helping with planning resources, recommended vendors, and when it came to rescheduling and having to cancel. We were fully refunded and their customer service team is top notch! Thanks to Linnea and Heather for all your help. We wish we could have gotten married at this gorgeous farm! -

We feel super blessed to have been able to have our wedding at Steckle. They were amazing to work with and the venue was gorgeous. We were so happy to be able to do everything in one place! Steckle Farm was absolutely perfect for our wedding. The farm has beautiful grounds and the barn is a lovely rustic space for a reception. Linnea was extremely accommodating and easy to communicate with and made it very easy for us to enjoy our day. -

Because this venue was so naturally stunning we didn't need to spend time on point decor, and were instead able to add very unique pieces that brought our dream to life!Steckle Heritage Farm's reply:

Danielle C. Sent on 27/09/2016When originally contacting Steckle we heard back fairly quickly and were able to book a tour of the facilities. It was a little difficult to coordinate as we were out of town and you cannot go on the weekends, but we understood this is due to the amount of events they have on the weekends. Linnea was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. She gave us a lot of helpful information, including that Steckle works with several preferred caterers, and has several policies due to it being a heritage site. We were happy with the price of the venue, and liked that a portion of the cost was a donation toward Steckle’s programs. The grounds were very clean and well kept. The orchard where we got married was beautiful and the barn was breathtaking with the string lights. In the summer it does get fairly hot in there, so I advise that you bring several fans with you. Though it is fairly close to a busy road, it still feels like a secluded farm and you almost forget how close you are to the road. We couldn’t have imagined our wedding day anywhere else except this gorgeous venue. Definitely recommended. -

We worked closely with them and our vendors to make sure we respected the venue as it means a great deal to us and the work that they do for the community! Steckle as a not-for-profit organization is essential in educating our future generations about agriculture, sustainability and responsible farming.
From Day One when we fell in love with the venue, we had grand plans to bring exotic animals, gelato truck and a photobooth to the venue, all which Steckle allowed us to do - with detailed plans and instructions. Our dream wedding was everything we could've imagined it could be and more! The apple orchard was in bloom during our May wedding and the heritage barn where our primary reception space was beautiful and all of our guests complimented us on a beautiful venue.
The washroom facilities were adequate (after all we were outside in a barn!) and they made an extra effort to rent an additional washroom for the wedding season really made a difference for our guests.
Our communication with Steckle was straightforward and always prompt. Linnea and her team always had our questions answered and made coordinating with them so easy. Of all of the aspects of our wedding, our venue was one of the most important to us - and Steckle delivered it all and more. We couldn't have imagined a more perfect day. Thank you!
