My Garden Wedding is a rustic outdoor venue welcoming unforgettable celebrations in Lake Country, British Columbia. The grounds of this stunning estate offer uninterrupted views of the surrounding mountains and the deep blue of the lake’s waters below. There are several event spaces to choose from, and all are included in our custom packages. When you choose My Garden Wedding you have private use of all the unique areas. The venue is located far from the lights of the city, offering a one-of-a-kind setting for a peaceful celebration.
Facilities and Capacity
My Garden Wedding features a multitude of distinctive, breathtaking outdoor venue spaces perfect for capturing that perfect picture. With a capacity of up to 120 guests. To-be-weds can choose to exchange their vows in the stunning Inverted Chapel. This Gothic-style space welcomes friends and family, as couples tie the knot under a minimalist wedding arch decorated with neutral hanging baskets. The site boasts impressive views over Kalamalka Lake and the surrounding mountains. For receptions or ceremonies, the Moongate and Pavillion on the Lawn space is an ideal choice that combines artistic Asian design with natural beauty. The Pavillion is a covered area on the lawn, with new extended shelter or shade with the 40x20 white wedding tent. It truly is the place where romance and nature meet. Every season offers a different landscape and scents to make you think of faraway lands. A recent bumper sticker sums it as "Venice, Paris, Oyama."
The staff of My Garden Wedding is happy to help couples organize their big day. We have benches, chairs, signing tables, and a few unique furniture items which are included in the package price. The team can provide access to a range of event items to ensure that your wedding day is a success. One of the most unique features of the venue is you can pick your own flowers for your bouquet and your bridesmaids from our flower farm. Many brides say this was one of the highlights of their wedding. Collect the flowers you like and we can help create that one-of-a-kind bouquet. A laid-back way right in the heart of nature before the stress of the day ahead, to laugh, create and have fun with your best friends.
We do not provide food or force you to use any vendors. This is a great way of choosing the food you like from food trucks to full-catered meals. You are in control of your choices and budget.

Meet the team
Scottish born Canadian artist Ian Donn with his wife Louise created My Garden Wedding over a period of three years. Turning a cattle grazed hillside into a brides dream wedding location.
Opening their doors in 2019. It is one of Canada's latest premier ceremony locations.
With a passion for flowers and always on the look out for beauty this project ticked all the boxes.
The landscape is created using mass plantings of carefully selected flowers and colors, which thrive in the Okanagan climate i.e. Lavender, echinacea ( coneflowers ).
Atention to detail, customer service and providing that wow factor is foremost in the artists purpose.
Its always beatiful to see someone walking away from our gardens with an armfull of fresly picked blooms.
