Experience the tranquil atmosphere of the Lazy M Lodge in Caroline, Alberta, on your wedding day. The surrounding hills, beautiful deck that overlooks the water, and all-inclusive wedding services create a lovely setting for your big day. Lazy M Lodge is approximately two hours from Calgary or Edmonton. Calgary International Airport is 194 kilometres from the venue.
Facilities and capacity
The property offers both indoor and outdoor settings for your wedding ceremony and reception. Its front lawn is perfect for outdoor ceremonies, while receptions can be hosted in the country hall. The 4,000-square-foot hall can accommodate up to 125 guests for a seated dinner. Enjoy an excellent view of the valley, the North Raven River, and the Alberta skies from the raised deck. A wedding night stay in the lodge's one-bedroom loft is included in the rental package for the bride and groom.

Marcel and Randy, the owners of Lazy M Lodge, offer personal attention to every detail of your day to make your event perfect. They will guide you throughout the process, from planning to the final toast, to ensure that you have a memorable celebration. Couples are also allowed to bring in outside vendors. Hall rentals include the flowing:

Accommodations
Located on the banks of the North Raven River, the lodge is surrounded by decks so you can enjoy the beauty of nature during your visit. The main lodge features eight bedrooms that can accommodate up to 17 sleeping guests. It also includes numerous sitting rooms and a dining room.

This venue and the owners are incredible. If your wedding is 125 people or less and you want an affordable more rustic feel, this venue should be on your list to see. It is located near Caroline, Alberta. The huge property has a beautiful perfectly maintained hall, beautiful guesthouse with 8 bedrooms (which was an absolutely perfect place for the wedding party and some close family to stay), powered RV camping spots, and like a million perfect photo spots (our photographer was thrilled).
The owners, Randy and Marcel, were incredibly helpful and worked with us closely to help us have the perfect day. They were even an enormous help during the wedding day itself! I can't speak highly enough of them.
It is exponentially better to work with owners than with the manager of some chain venue/hotel. In my planning process I noticed a huge problem is weddings have become too commercialized and standardized. This place is a huge contributor to taking back weddings as personal unique events.
