My husband and I had our wedding at the Farm in October 2022 and it was fantastic ! The attention to detail, the customer service, THE FOOD, the hospitality, the list goes on and on. We would recommend the Farm: Earth to Table to anyone looking for a warm and elegant venue space.

The farm is a hidden gem! Some of the reasons we loved the venue so much:
1. The People - we worked with Nichole and she was the most responsive, professional, incredible person to work with that made every detail come to life, and ensured that nothing went wrong on our big day - literally nothing went wrong! The rest of the farm staff were very friendly and professional as well!
2. Location - It is the perfect gateaway from Toronto - you feel like you are our in the country, but the venue is close enough that people can still drive back to the city at the end of the night if they need.
3. The grounds are beautiful - the ceremony space has a gorgeous view and slanted so everyone can see you, the cocktail space is awesome with fire pits and seating, pretty lights, flowers, and outdoor pizza oven for late night eats. Great place for people to get some fresh air in between dancing as well. The barn is perfect and nice because they can control the temperature. Great dance floor space - everything you need and more. Didn't need a lot of flowers becuase the venue is so nice on it's own.
4. THE FOOD! EVERYONE kept complimenting the food - it was delicious. We had burrata/beet salad, steak/mash potatoes/veggies, and sticky toffee cake - yum
Overall 10/10 must book - also reasonable price compared to what we have seen with other venues.

We got married at the farm earlier this month and it was everything we could have dreamed of. Pearle is a fantastic company and worked with us through postponements and ups and downs of COVID.

We were originally getting married at Ancaster Mill in March 2020 but postponed to the Farm for August 2020. There were a few glitches in the planning process but at the end of the day Makayla + Julia are fantastic and anyone would be lucky to work with them and have the two of them involved in your wedding. Our day of wedding went off without a hitch and everyone was blown away by the level of service + the food.

My husband and I highly recommend Earth to Table: The Farm. We got married at The Farm on July 30th, 2021. From the venue location itself, to the food; everything was superb. There are lots of areas for photos, games, and socializing outside and inside. Everyone raved about their meals, as everything was flavourful and cooked to perfection. Makayla was a dream to work with. We always felt heard and supported, especially through the ups and downs surrounding the pandemic. At one point, Makayla even helped fix my bustle on my wedding dress (a true hero). The Team at the farm truly has a 'make it work' attitude, and put you first. Full heartedly recommend! Got married during COVID-19. Laura (events manager) was amazing to work with. Responsive and worked hard to accommodate us during these tricky times. Originally, we were going to get married at Ancaster Mill in December but Pearle venues let us move up our date and use the farm instead. So up till the day of, I would have given them 10/10. Things went off smoothly till after dinner. The day of coordinators were not friendly and my guests noticed this. The bar was located outside and guests had to walk in the rain to get their drinks. I was approached to remove my wedding decor off the table which really upset me (it had been previously discussed that they would be cleaning up the tables). They forgot to put out my dessert favours and when we finally "noticed" them there were 10 of them tucked away in the corner of our late night table where no one could even see them. Lastly, I have had two friends get married at this venue and both received an engraved knife set. We were not given or offered this. All in all. Beautiful venue. Pearle venues is well known for being good at what they do and accommodating their couples. For whatever reason a few things went wrong on our day and unfortunately they stick out in my mind now that I am leaving my reviews. Consistency is key!

We moved our reception from Ancaster Mill to the Farm in the midst of the pandemic as we wanted an outdoor, more spacious option. The Farm took us on 3 months before the new wedding date and helped us have our dream wedding. The communication with our coordinator, Makayla was always productive and we had numerous on site visits, phone calls and emails to make sure that everything aligned to our expectations. On the day of the wedding, the Farm staff helped our decorator to lay out our table decor and lawn games, and once the wedding party arrived for cocktail hour, the staff were always ready to stop what they were doing to address our needs immediately. The food was phenomenal - we had several guests say that it was the best food they've had at any wedding. They even accommodated some of our guests who were uncomfortable dining in the main hall by serving their food on the second floor loft. Overall it was a wonderful day and night, everyone in attendance had so much fun, we as the couple got to enjoy our meals fully, and we are so glad that we were able to hold our wedding at the Farm!

There are no words to describe how incredible this venue is. Our wedding was absolutely perfect, the day ran smoothly and everyone was raving about the food. A+ service!

I'm reviewing late- my wedding was in August 2019. But I just wanted to leave a review to say how beautiful our night was. The team at the Farm went above and beyond and we had amazing service and food. The waitstaff was amazing, going as far as to have a plate of food & a fresh drink delivered to the head table when they noticed I didn't get to eat during the cocktail hour. Bar staff was also great and kept drinks flowing all night. The food itself was amazing and I still have people commenting on it to this day saying it was the best food they've eaten at a wedding. We worked with Laura at the Farm and she made sure everything was setup to our specifications perfectly, including a bilingual menu with French translations for my husband's family. The venue itself is gorgeous including outside ceremony spot and the barn itself. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for the perfect rustic chic wedding!

We were married on August 11 at Ancaster Mills Chapel.

Our contract we were originally given said that the service would start at 3:30, however a few weeks prior to the wedding I was informed it was actually 1:30 PM and they had no record of the 3:30 PM despite that I had a physical contract I was first given that states 3:30.

Because of this some of my friends and my husbands family missed the actual wedding ceremony as they didn’t get the memo we sent around when we had to re-contact all of our guests (Over 100 people) to inform them of this change.

Because of change the wedding to start at 1:30 PM, they expected people coming from Niagara region and Toronto to figure it out for themselves what they were going to do for the two hours roughly they had to wait until cocktail hour which is supposed to start right after the 3:30 ceremony. We were not offered an alternative option. I had to request one and suggest starting earlier.

On our wedding day we found out there was another wedding at 3:30 PM. So we felt they basically pushed us out of the way for somebody else who was likely using ancaster Mill for the reception as well.

We had to pay extra and end our reception early in order to have people be able to have their cocktail hour start early at the other venue. As we had our reception at Earth to table the farm.

We were also informed that if we were not able to make the minimum 120 plates that they would do other things to make up for the value. I had to ask them to do this just days before the wedding. They did not offer it.

On the day of the wedding I was informed after the ceremony that we were supposed to delegate somebody to receive cards. However nobody ever asked us or informed us that this was required. A random person had to step up and take cards. What if this person was somebody with ill intentions. All of our cards and gifts would’ve been gone. The person who had stepped up to take the cards on our behalf was not the person I would have chosen had I’ve been given that option.

Our consultant for Earth to table to farm was very difficult to get a hold of. We were finally able to get in contact with her more often in the two weeks leading up to the wedding. Which made everything such a stressful experience with trying to figure out all the small details in those two weeks. I had reached out and requested a new consultant and they did not give one. They suggested I try emailing her instead of texting on the phone that she was contacting me on, she only has the phone when she is at the venue which from my understanding she was at the venue four or five times during the week as she worked out of the venue? It felt very dismissive.

At the reception venue, earth to table the farm we were asking for the food waiver that Ancaster Mill told us we would need filled out as we are being outside food. We never received it and then the day before the wedding day she sent it to us asking us to sign it and the outside vender and that she didn’t know it was a requirement despite us asking numerous times because Ancaster Mills told us it was required. We told her we would not be able to get it signed in time as we are very busy with last-minute preparations and asked her to have it signed it the day of and have the person bringing the outside food to sign it as well. I don’t know if it ever even got signed. I never signed it and apparently my husband never signed it so I don’t know if somebody did.

Although the venue was very beautiful and Our guests enjoyed it, it was a hassle for us and we were extremely stressed out.

For such high standard venues you would expected more.

As somebody who has been going to Ancaster Mill‘s for their Sunday brunches the last few years I was very disappointed in the service when I chose to have my wedding here. It was great at beginning before I had to really actually be in contact with them that much. They were friendly and kind. But when it came closer to the wedding it seemed like they are very disorganized or just did not care.

Overall, I will say that the day of staff working the actual ceremony & reception was extremely pleasant to deal with.
