Dreamcatcher Meadows provided a wonderful landscape for our wedding. We were, however, promised a few things prior to signing our contract, like wifi and cellphone service, and a cabin for the bridal party to get ready in. These were not delivered, which made it a logistical ... View more challenge for our wedding party as well as for some of our guests. We would recommend this venue to brides as long as they are aware of the total costs of having an event there beyond base rental (which we came to realize as we were planning). We spent $5000 to rent the venue itself, $2600 for bathrooms that were adequate for 180 guests, $6500 on flooring at $1 per square foot which was required by the venue (2400 for the space under the barn, and the rest for our tent which was 50x65 ft), and $4000 to shuttle 150 of our guests to and from Whistler. As a result, our costs were significantly higher to make the venue "usable" which we did not foresee. The venue was accommodating in allowing our vendors to set up and takedown outside the long weekend hours which saved us extra costs associated with this. We did encounter a professional issue with the owners of the venue which jeopardized our event 10 days prior to our wedding day but we were able to work through it. On the day, they worked hard to make the event a success.
