Century Barn is a wedding venue nestled among the rolling hills of Cavan, Ontario. The seven-generation estate run by the Stewart Family offers the perfect place to host weddings, corporate events, and community functions. With permanent fixtures and amenities, it is much more than a barn. Spectacular sunsets, hayfields, spring blossoms, summer breezes or fall foliage await to impress discerning visitors.
Facilities and capacity
Century Barn can hold a maximum of 140 guests and is available throughout the week for weddings and other special events. The venue has several spaces to host the nuptial celebrations. Outside, couples are welcome to the ceremony garden next to the barn for the ritual service. Afterward, the pair-of-honour and guests can enjoy a cocktail hour and hors d’oeuvres in the outdoor courtyard. Inside, a furnished loft and lounge area is an idyllic setting to enjoy a toast. The Grand Barn also serves as a reception area for a night of dinner and dancing or an alternative ceremony space should the weather turn. The venue is complete with a bar, including a fridge, a freezer, and taps. A wedding suite is open to the nearlyweds inside the barn, fitted with floor-to-ceiling mirrors, a flushable washroom, and electrical outlets. To facilitate outside caterers on the day, the venue has a preparation pad with lighting and water access for an exceptional gourmet experience.
Services offered
Century Barn only hosts one event per day, offering exclusive access for the celebrations. On the day, the venue attendants are available to orient vendors, greet guests and direct parking for seamless event execution. The DIY bar service gives couples the freedom to work within their budget and customize liquor selections for their guests. A booking with Century Barn also includes the use of their tables, banquet chairs and various décor pieces, so there is one less thing to worry about. If the barn's collection does not suit your fancy, several excellent local vendors will have what you are looking for at competitive prices. Our amazing experience with the best venue

We got married at Century Barn in July. I will try to put into words how amazing our wedding was. Our original venue decided to sell leaving us devastated I went into full searching mode and came across century barn. Brooke called me later at night and I’ll never forget she said “I just had a feeling I should call you”. They say everything happens for a reason and I believe fate led us to Century Barn. Planning a wedding was absolutely seamless.. and I’m not kidding easy. When looking for a venue that is what I wanted no stress and let me tell you Seanna, Brooke and the whole team took care of us all. They felt like family to us, and treated us like family too. From the start of wedding planning until the end of the night they were there for us. We are still talking about the night as well as family and friends and even comments of “that was the best wedding I have ever been too”. They provided us with vendors and from the photographer, to caterer, DJ, officiant.. decor. They were absolutely amazing. Our wedding day was a true life fairytale. Brooke, Seanna, Kim are the sweetest humans ever. We had zero hiccups, even with rain the team was out drying the chairs multiple times. So much goes on behind the scenes they deal with and added zero stress to our day. The bridal suite is a dream, the gardens are absolutely breathtaking as we as the barn. I would recommend century barn 1000 times.

Beautiful and charming venue with amazing team!
Our wedding at Century barn was absolutely amazing. From the very beginning of planning, everyone at Century Barn was so helpful and engaged in planning our special day with us. On the day of the wedding, Seanna and Brooke went above and beyond to make sure we had the best day. They were incredibly attentive, checked in frequently to make sure everything was going smoothly, and just so sweet. We couldn’t have asked for a better day or venue. The property and barn are truly beautiful.

Accommodating of Quirky Weddings!
The team at Century Barn Weddings were phenomenal! The package and location they offered was so hard to beat and they delivered! The planning process was really smooth and they let our quirky vision become our wedding day fairy tale! We had many special requests that their team was willing to work with us and figure out a way to make it happen! The staff and vendors they work with delivered such quality service leading up to and on the day of. I would HIGHLY recommend them as an incredible place to get married!

Dream Venue and Team
My husband and I just got married at Century Barn and we are beyond thrilled that we chose this venue. Century Barn is absolutely stunning, rustic, clean, and offers so many beautiful spots to gather with friends and family and/or take pictures. Our photographer was in love with this venue! We got so many compliments on how beautiful our wedding was at this location! It easily fit our 75-person wedding. We chose the Sunday package that included all the vendors and it made the process so much easier! The best part though, is the unbelievably kind, organized, and helpful team at Century Barn. We were blown away by their service and will miss working with them! They hands down made our wedding day our dream day and we are forever grateful.

Amazing Venue and Experience
This venue is an absolute dream and is such a unique place to get married. The staff (and owners) are SO supportive and kind. They truly cared about making our day perfect. Shout out to Brooke for going way above and beyond to make our day memorable. We are so happy that we booked Century Barn. All of our guests are RAVING about this venue. It is truly a special place. Outstanding venue!
Working with Brooke was like working with the Venue of our dreams! To say she went above and beyond is the understatement of the century! She continuously worked with us to help accomodate our requests. She followed up with us during the most important timelines and provided helpful suggestions to give us ideas of how to work with the space. We are beyond grateful and would highly recommend this venue. 10/10

Rustic Beauty and Flawless day
If the thought of planning a wedding and all the vendors and scheduling the day scares you, look no further. This venue was an absolute pleasure to work with and provided so much within their package they offer. The only vendors we had to source were the florist, hair/makeup and cake. Our coordinator Seanna was so helpful along the way and always quick with communication. On the day of we could not have gotten better weather, allowing us to have the ceremony outside in their beautiful perennial garden area. The day went flawlessly, and all our guests were stunned by how beautiful the venue was and the night they had. Setup and take down was all taken care of and so helpful packing it all up before the night was over. All off the staff were so friendly and helpful.
The bar is a DIY bar which does help cost as well as provides the flexibility to make it your own, it is a bit overwhelming so would just recommend not leaving that part too last minute. We had only one small hiccup in the planning process, but they were so quick to fix this and then go over and beyond offering accommodations for this.
I would 11 out of 10 recommend this venue if you are truly looking for that rustic century barn feel with natural beauty. Very little has to be done in terms of décor to this spot to make it look amazing!

Amazing venue and wonderful family
Where to start! The Century Barn team were nothing but amazing. When our wedding plans changed unexpectedly, they did everything they could to ensure the reception we later had was just perfect. Their kindness and flexibility were so very much appreciated by my husband and myself. Not to mention the property and barn itself is absolutely stunning and incredibly well-kept. We were lucky enough to have beautiful weather and held our reception out among the gardens. Thank you again for everything and hope to visit again someday!!
