Hello there, if you're reading this then you must be curious about hiring STEC to do your photography. I'll make it easy for you... do it! Seriously, I don't have enough words to tell you how incredible it was working with Pete.
First, let me say he is one of the most welcoming people I've ever met; his wife included (whom my husband and I met briefly). He happily welcomed us into his home and we spent a few hours chatting about ourselves and our plans for our wedding. Pete made us feel very comfortable as he told us about himself and his photography style, to the point where we didn't even consider any other photographer. We knew we wanted him to be a part of our big day.
Second, this man is incredibly patient. We had some issues happen that caused some problems before the wedding, and we had to do a lot of back-and-forth communicating to make sure we were all on the same page. He was extremely helpful and patient when I was a little slow to respond at times. Not only that, not once did he get annoyed when I had to continually interrupt his work to run to the bathroom as I have Chron's Disease. Most people struggle with understanding the situation, but he was very supportive and considerate when it came to location choices.
Third, he's a lot of fun to work with. I spent a lot of my time laughing during the photo shoots, which made things much easier. He provided guidance when needed (let's face it, most of us aren't models!), and nothing felt weird or uncomfortable (ladies, he does boudoir shoots ;) and despite how I feel about my body, he made me look damn fine!).
Fourth, his work is INCREDIBLE. It didn't matter if the photos were touched up or not, they all came out great! Of course I'm a little biased and absolutely loved the ones he did touch up (some of the effects he put on the images were really cool!!), but there weren't any photos I was unhappy with. If you haven't checked out his work yet, take a minute to do so. This is a man who clearly loves his art and it shows!
Now, if you're worried about price, let me say that he is worth it. I don't mean to say that he's expensive, nor do I mean to say he's cheap. However, I know many people who don't want to spend more than a couple hundred (or less) on photography, and that's completely understandable. My husband and I debated how much we wanted to dedicate towards the photography budget, and decided that this was one cost we wouldn't "cheap out on", and honestly we have no regrets. Again, not saying he's expensive or cheap; the price for what we got was fantastic (especially if you compare some others who charge just as much or more for a fraction of what's included if you sign on with Pete).
I could probably keep going on and on about Pete and his work, but I think you get the idea by now. Not only is he amazing at what he does, he's also an amazing person. If you're still not convinced, I suggest meeting him. He doesn't pressure you into signing with him, and he even gave us advice on what to look for when searching for a photographer (if we decided we didn't want to hire him). I would 100% recommend him to any couple. He exceeded all my expectations, and I hope that I can work with him again in the future.

We got married at Inn on the Twenty this past July, the pictures were great. We had so many compliments about Pete on the day of, his image visions and ideas were great. Definitely recommend him to anyone... his professionalism, experience and easy-going demeanor were a great part of our day.

There is only positive to say about Pete - the professionalism as well as quality of photography that he produces. He was able to capture the intimacy of our small wedding as well as handle our 4 children with ease! We are so happy with our photos and are thankful that we chose Stec Photography as we will have these memories that he captured for us for our lifetime. We look forward to having Pete take photos of our family again in the future!!

Pete made us feel very comfortable from the first meeting, he was very thorough and detailed from start to finish. Not being a fan of having my photo taken he made me feel very comfortable. Pete is the ultimate professional, for the most part he did his thing and I didn't even realize he was there. All of our family and guests commented on the great job he did. ("Some photographers can simply take over and he just blended in"). Our photos were here within a week and all look fabulous!!!! He really captured our special day the way we wanted it.

Adrien and I were very impressed with the quality of Stec photography for our wedding this past July. We really enjoyed the artistic style used to capture such a wonderful day for us!

Pete did a fantastic job at our wedding, he knew our venue so well and knew exactly where and how to shoot. He was also very open to our ideas and suggestions.

I love Pete's photographic style and he was able to capture the essence of our day. The only thing I would do differently is hire him for longer! I only wanted pictures of the first part of the day and our first day, after seeing how good they came out, I wish I would have had him at the dance/reception taking shots of all the fun we had!

All I can say about Peter Stec is: WOW! From our first meeting with him, my husband and I were very impressed by his professionalism and eagerness to help us with any questions and concerns that we had regarding our wedding photos. Come the day of our wedding, even though it was the coldest, most miserable day of the whole year, Pete did not let this dampen our spirits. He captured all the day's moments beautifully and provided his expert opinion at every turn. My husband and I were so impressed with the way Pete ran around all day, changing lenses and commenting on how cool the photos looked and how he was trying different things and getting really excited- which in turn got us pretty excited! I can go on and on about Stec Photography. Pete was truly amazing and gracious every step of the way. We will definitely be recommending him to any friends we know planning a wedding in the future.

From start to finish Stec was there for us. I wish I could put into words how happy we were with everything leading up to the wedding and then how blown away we were on the actual day.
Emily provided the much needed direction that was required. We both felt so relaxed and confident with her. She literally got everything single shot I asked for plus more.
When people ask about my wedding one of the first things I share is how happy we were with our photographer. Our family and friends were also so extremely happy.
