the cake itself was a hit at the party. Everyone enjoyed it - all ages. People asked about where we bought it, so I expect they'll get a lot of new business as there were like 25 families at the party. If I had to describe the cake, it's like a denser version of normal cake. So instead of fluffy/soft, it's like thick and rich. I think that's the best I can describe it. Overall great flavor and all.

Diane is amazing! I was an out of town bride and in today's age of technology, I thought it would be a lot easier to get things done through phone calls and emails. Two other vendors and over three months of promised phone calls and emails that I did not receive, I found Diane. Diane was so kind and sweet and very flexible in returning my emails and calls, providing advice, reminding me to relax, and reassuring me that it would all work out...it sure did. Her cake was fabulous and it tasted so amazing. Our bottom layer was chocolate peanut butter and I wish I could have brought it all home with me! If you are getting married in Jacksonville and want an honest, reasonable and beautiful cake, go with Diane!

For those wondering, my two bad experiences were with Divine Indulgences and Metro Custom Cakes. My only regret is not finding Diane sooner!

Our Venue was at Patricia's Ballroom. Patricia and her husband John have some excellent resources and D&D Cakes was the one that we selected to make our wedding cake and cupcakes. The evening that we met Darlene, she had some wonderful samples for us to taste. We were specifically interested in the whipped cream based cakes and cupcakes. They were perfect, not too sweet. She had many live examples and photos of her work. We fell in love with one of her live examples because the piping was very detailed and quite beautiful. We couldn't wait to see the end result. The cake was not only exactly as we pictured it to be, it also tasted very good. Our guests really enjoyed the three flavours as well as the 4 cupcake flavours we had. We would recommend D&D Cakes to anyone who is planning any event!!

I had a very good experience with this company.

They are located half hour outside of Winnipeg and it is worth the drive.

We ordered from them Wedding Cupcakes and those were the very best!!
I've never tried anything better!

Their service was very good. We had one important request (to be dairy free) and they were able to comply with no problem.

The taste and flavors were very delicious! I had excellent critics from all the guests!!


I RECOMMEND THEM FOR EVERY WEDDING!!
