We had met with Sheryl and had verbally agreed she would do our ceremony. She told us she would be sending us the contract shortly. We didn’t hear back for a couple days and contacted her that we didn’t receive it and she told us that another couple had taken the date. She tried to set us up with a friend of hers twice and both times she said they were available and then when I contacted them within minutes after she said they were available they told us they weren’t. All together very unorganized.

We were so lucky to find our officiant Sheryl! She has so much experience doing this and was able to answer all of our questions and more. We are both extremely indecisive and she remained super patient and helped us feel reassured with every decision we made in regards to our ceremony. It really helped that she had so many samples for us to read and be inspired by. We received so many lovely compliments on our ceremony and this was all thanks to her! She even totally remained cool and didn't skip a beat when our nephew had a meltdown mid-ceremony. She helped us feel comfortable and at ease. I would highly recommend her! Thanks again Sheryl!

Sheryl was very fun, helpful and accommodating to our oddball needs! :P She was nothing but cool with our Halloween theme. Even dressing as Professor Mcgonagall to conduct the ceremony!

I hired Sheryl because of her reviews and her willingness to accommodate our wedding in Kenora, Ontario. She had a cabin nearby and coordinated it so she only had to travel from there. A connection with someone that is performing something so personal for you is so important and hiring Sheryl through email correspondence was a bit unnerving for me but when I met her I was immediately put at ease. It was like we were longtime friends; the conversation was effortless, we shared many laughs and I was so comfortable putting our day in her hands...and knew it would be perfect. Sheryl was wonderful to work with; so organized, professional and had great suggestions for our ceremony. Sheryl was so quick to garner what we liked and didn't like that the ceremony came together quickly and I was so pleased with the result. Sheryl also conducted a rehearsal for us and she was so patient when having to rein in the wedding party (sorry Sheryl) and provided great recommendations on our non-conventional ceremony that made is easy to adjust and finalize our plan. On the day of the wedding she was very calming and gave us gentle direction when needed so everything ran smoothly. Later that evening we had many compliments on our ceremony and Sheryl as our officiant. I would highly recommend Sheryl to anyone looking to get married and wants someone who truly cares about making your day wonderful and uniquely you! Sheryl was amazing! She made our ceremony unique and perfectly tailored for us. She was lovely to work with and was fast at communicating different ideas. During the ceremony she was kind, and calming and very professional. She even took care of mailing the government forms for us! If we could give her 10 stars we would! Sheryl was wonderful to work with. She poured so much energy into making our ceremony special, unique, and so personal to us - literally telling our story, which many of our guests didn't actually know, so they LOVED it. She was patient with us (it took us forever to get ourselves together and answer her questionnaires), took her time with us at our first meeting, brought humor and warmth to our ceremony and encouraged us to make sure it was everything we wanted (which ended up being a lot more than we initially anticipated!). It was just delightful all around. Honestly, I will always be a little sad that we had her on a double-booked day because by the time we were through with all the planning, and the ceremony itself, she felt like a long-time friend & I would have loved for her to have been able to stay for the whole reception instead of just a short time. I think, perhaps, that is the ultimate hallmark of a great working relationship - being SO pleased with it that you are a little bit sad when it comes time for it to end. I highly, highly recommend Sheryl. If you want a special, personal, unique ceremony that people will talk about even after it's over, she will absolutely deliver.
