We first heard about the Light Box through at our friend's wedding and loved the light and bright feel of their work on Instagram! We worked with Mark, who is so so great!! He not only helped us bring our vision into life by using our inspiration photos, but he brought his own creativity into the mix! The after ceremony photos with a city feel was his idea and they ended up being some of our favourite photos! He made the whole experience fun and helped direct us as this was our first shoot with a professional photographer. We definitely recommend booking The Light Box. From inquiring with them, to planning for the day and during the wedding they were super responsive and helpful. They are very easy to work with and incorporated our detailed plan flawlessly. Neither my husband nor I are very comfortable being in front of the camera but Mark and Mike are so friendly and made us feel at ease the entire time. We ended up running on a tight schedule for photos but they were very quick to think of great photo ideas, got our schedule back on track in a short period of time and still managed to get so many amazing photos. They are very talented and professional and they were also incredibly quick at getting the photos back! We also love our personalized box, it is a wonderful keepsake. It was pleasure working with Mark and Mike and we are so happy with our decision to book with them!

We had the absolute pleasure of having Mike and Mark photograph our engagement shoot and wedding day. They are both wonderful people and wonderful photographers. My husband and I feel like we can be somewhat awkward in photos, but Mike and Mark guided us through everything and our pictures turned out incredible. My husband and I are both camera shy and prefer to be behind the camera, so we had hesitations getting a wedding photographer. But, meeting Mark and Mike truly put our anxieties at ease. They listened and understood our worries and reassured us every step of the way. They accommodated all of our special requests of staying discreet especially during the ceremony as we wanted to keep the ceremony really solemn and not distracting for both of us. Mark and Mike did exactly that and more! They are such professionals and know exactly what they're doing! Their instructions were easy to follow and were very patient with us whenever we feel awkward and just laugh randomly during the shoot. They respond fast and with a lot of details to all our inquiries. The photos turned out AMAZING of course, and I highly recommend getting the special box of photos! He was generous with his time, took the most amazing pictures for our engagement shoot and we appreciated that he was willing to work with us on our vision. The pictures, as they say, are worth a thousand words. The ones that the Lightbox team took of us are worth a million great things. They were the easiest to work with and the most flexible photographers we've ever worked with. On a limited budget, Mark and EJ were able to display our parents' 50th Golden Anniversary renewal of vow as if we splurged. The team definitely captured the happiness of my parents and family...and we can re-live them through the pictures. He was very organized, which helped us to be on time (and even early) on our itinerary for the day. They even helped in the teardown of the equipment at the reception. Truly, they were a blessing for our event. They will not disappoint!

The light box came highly recommended to me as they also did two of my best friends wedding and engagement photos. And I was not disappointed! They were so professional and they took beautiful photos at my wedding. It happened to rain on my wedding day but Mark and his team improvised our planned photos for the day and they still managed to capture amazing photos. They were easy going, communicates well and took the time to get to know my vision for the wedding and they 100% delivered. Would recommend them to everyone!

My fiancee and I had our engagement shoot with Mark, and the whole experience was amazing! Mark was very warm and friendly during our shoot, helping us to relax and get comfortable in front of the camera. He has a great eye for detail which led to some amazing shots. He is also very accommodating, both in and out of the shoot. We were able to shoot in areas that wanted, and also had the pictures colour edited the way we liked.
