Gorgeous Venue

Our wedding was August 25th, 2018 at Predator Ridge Resort
We had been planning our wedding for one day short of 1 year. We searched for venues until we drove out to view Predator Ridge. I knew the moment we saw the breathtaking scenery and patio overlooking the golf course that it was our dream venue.
We met with Erika the event planner that day, and she was so friendly and willing to show us around.
From the day we secured our date, Erika was amazing to have helping me sort through the fine details. She was always there to return my phone calls and countless emails of questions, and finishing touches.
The rest of the staff at the resort were so helpful anytime we called in to arrange tee times or rooms for guests. It made the time leading up to our day, more exciting having the kindess from the staff.
We had planned our day to be a sunny august day, having our ceremony on the outdoor patio overlooking the golf course. The patio was our favourite part of the venue and we dreamed about how it would unfold, all year long.
On the day of it was only 14 degrees outside and smokey, as the Okanagan tends to have in the summer. We got a drizzle of rain at the very end of our ceremony, which cleared up some of the smoke in the valley and allowed us to see the view. This memory I will have forever and so many of our guests commented on how the rain had perfect timing and created such a view. The staff were so quick to run out a few umbrellas to us at the ceremony, and Erika was with us the entire day to ensure things were going as planned.

We drove the golf carts around the course for photos and this was one of our favourite parts of the day. The course is one of the nicest in the Okanagan. There is so many picturesque spots for pictures, we really got lucky with ours. The views from the cliff, overlooking the lake, mountains in the background by the water, really cannot be beat.
We lucked out with an incredible sunset that evening, of orange and pink colors so bright – the two of us snuck off for more pictures and still are admiring those photographs.

We had 110 guests join us on our day and all 15 rooms we had blocked off for us were full. Guests had amazing reviews about the accomodations, and raved about the food at our dinner reception. Many told us they hadn’t eaten food that good at a wedding before!

I would recommend Predator Ridge to anyone who is planning their dream wedding!

Beutiful location and great staff!

My wife and I travelled from Saskatchewan to get married at Predator Ridge in August of 2018. We decided on the location after I had been there to golf several times and the staff treated us so well when we were there. A big factor in our decision was the ease of the amenities and accommodations. It made it very easy for our guests to stay, spend time with us, and enjoy some of the local activities such as hiking, yoga, biking, and world-class golf. We are very happy with our decision to get married at Predator Ridge and all of our guests can’t stop telling us how much they enjoyed their time at the resort.

Fall wedding at Predator

We got married at Predator Ridge in November of 2017, and it was the perfect venue! We loved that we could have the ceremony and reception at the same location and having the ceremony in the lodge meant we didn’t have to worry about the weather while still enjoying the beautiful views. All the staff were so helpful, and I don’t know how I would have made it through the wedding planning process without Erika, she is awesome!

The reception was held in the ballroom, and we were lucky enough to piggyback on Predator’s Christmas decorations, the trees looked spectacular! All our guests loved the food, they would even tell us so long after the wedding, so it was very memorable.

The bride’s family stayed at Predator the night before, and we had hair and makeup come to our room in the morning which was perfect! We stayed the night after the wedding, and it was so nice to just head up to the room after a night of dancing! The rooms are very romantic, and we had several friends who took the opportunity to have a couple’s getaway weekend.

Every aspect of our wedding was perfect, and I can’t think of a better place to host a wedding!

Fall wedding

Predator ridge has always been my family’s go-to for special occasions, birthdays, anniversaries, etc. So when we got engaged my mother snuck us down to the ball room and said we had to have the reception there and after meeting with their even planner, Erika, we were sold. We got married October 21 2017 in St. James Catholic Church and had our reception at Predator. Having been to their restaurant a lot before, the food and service were big selling points for me. There were so many options for food and Erika was so helpful helping us narrow it down to what we needed for our number of guests (the late night snacks were huge hit!)
The location was perfect and all of our out of town guests, even ones coming from Kelowna, stayed at the lodge for the weekend which was so nice, having everyone together at the same place was a huge bonus.
The quality of service we received that whole weekend was absolutely outstanding. My bridesmaids and I also stayed there the night before and got ready there in the morning, the front desk was so helpful with our hair and make up people coming and going and bringing up anything and everything we forgot.

I cannot recommend predator ridge enough. Having their event planner help guide us through all the decisions was so helpful and took so much stress off of the big day. We probably had one of the most stress free weddings I’ve ever been to and I credit a lot of that to the staff at predator.

All the staff at Predator we’re so amazing in the process of planning and executing our wedding day. Everyone was friendly and helpful and so accomodating. Our guests had a wonderful weekend and the food was superb. I would highly recommend predator for a weekend getaway, golf excursion or event.

It was good considering covid

The space and area are absolutely beautiful. We were a little disappointed to be hovered by a staff member during our signing.
I was confused about why we couldn’t sit in the ballroom and eat our cake, as it was only me, my husband, and our children.

Celebration at Predator Ridge

When we set out to plan our wedding in 2020 it was with the intention to celebrate with people we loved, in a location that allowed for simple execution of the day and to walk away with memories we would cherish forever.

We fell in love with Predator Ridge after our first look at the location and booked our wedding for May of 2020. It provided the simplicity we craved and so much more. The ceremony and reception could be in one location, our guests could stay right on site and the easy access to nature meant no extra travel time for the style of photos we desired.

Planning a wedding is no small feat and in 2020 it came with the challenge of a pandemic and world wide shut down. For us that meant cancelling our May 2020 wedding and choosing to shift to August of 2020 - not an easy choice given all the moving parts that come with creating a perfect day. This is where we want to express our deepest gratitude for Predator Ridge and their magnificent team.

Predator Ridge clearly and efficiently communicated all changes that effected our day secondary to the pandemic and collaborated with us with extreme patience so that we will always remember our day as the celebration we initially set out to plan. It's important to note here that we were required to make changes right up until the day of the wedding. Instead of stress and overwhelm with the constant shifting of our plans we felt supported and calm throughout the process thanks to Predator Ridge and their team.

We can't express our gratitude enough for the flexibility provided to us during the planning process. We were able to shift our date, decrease our guest list and find a balance within the chaos of 2020 so that we could be fully present throughout our day, celebrate with our loved ones and enjoy the delicious food provided by the chef and his incredible staff.

We are beyond grateful for their help to create a joyful experience for us and our guests.

Can't go wrong with a September Wedding at Predator

When we got engaged, all we knew was that we wanted to get married in the Okanagan but had no clue where to start. We came across Predator Ridge on the internet and seeing photographs of how picturesque the property is hooked us.

Living in Calgary, and not having time to make it out to Vernon prior to the wedding itself forced us to do all of the planning and coordinating via phone and email. The event staff at Predator, particularly Erika and Dawn, were amazing. They were quick to respond, answered all of our questions and when it came to the event itself, ensured everything went off without a hitch, with us having to do very little ourselves. We never second guessed our decision to get married there, despite not having seen the venue in person until two days prior.

In addition to pulling off an amazing wedding, the resort offers so much more making it a great place for a “mini-destination” wedding. We had a diverse group of guests all of whom travelled in from Calgary, Saskatchewan, the US or Europe. Predator Ridge had something to offer to everyone - golf, pools, hiking, nearby wineries...the list goes on.

We fully intend to come back to Predator Ridge and are sure many of our guests will as well. You won’t regret choosing this venue.

Predator Ridge Wedding

My husband Pete and I were married at Predator Ridge Resort on September 3rd, 2016 and we couldn’t have wished for a more picturesque day. The ceremony site had such a stunning panoramic backdrop, which made for incredible photo’s. The resort itself offers a vast array of scenic opportunities resulting in the convenience of not having to travel elsewhere. Area’s such as the Hockey Canada Cabin, or the luscious grass fields overlooking the courses and valley were a short golf cart ride away. Our guests stayed at the resort and were overwhelmingly pleased with the experience provided. They enjoyed having a choice of the two restaurants, picking up small items from the commonage market, and of course activities such as yoga and bike riding being easily accessible. We had a intimate dinner rehearsal at the range lounge and grill and also enjoyed a lovely Sunday brunch after the wedding. Everyone raved about the food and liked the fact it was all locally and responsibly sourced. To break up the busy itinerary of a wedding weekend, we went golfing on each of the courses. The ‘Ridge’ and ‘Predator’ courses were spectacular as expected, and it was a pleasure to spend some time with friends and family. Wedding coordinators Janine and Brent were so friendly and easy to work with and they each made the planning experience so fluent. They were always just a phone call or email away throughout the entire process. Our time spent at Predator Ridge was wonderful and our wedding day was everything we imagined it to be. We would highly recommend this venue to any future couples.
