I had high hopes for Streetcar Crowsnest. The venue is absolutely beautiful, and the possibilities for set up and decor are endless. However, getting a hold of the Director of Events, Caitlin, is nigh impossible. I respect that the COVID-19 pandemic has had a huge impact on the theatre industry, but not being kept in the loop about changes to the 2021 show season has caused so much undue stress and we now find ourselves scrambling to find another venue for September 2021. When I reached out to Caitlin about signing a contract and paying deposits (note: I was the one reaching out to her about payment! Usually it is the other way around?), I was left hanging for two weeks! The only way I could finally get a response from Caitlin was by contacting the theatre through their Facebook page. I really hope future couples can get more responsiveness from her. Her lack of professionalism has soured my experience with this venue as I am left feeling heartbroken and scrambled!

Not sure Carlin actually works. I had to call the venue a few times since she wasn’t replying to my emails to get someone to follow up, and when she finally replied I asked to book a tour and she ghosts me again. Completely unresponsive and unprofessional. I would stay away- you don’t want that kind of stress on your wedding day!
